jc, i didn't read that as an attempt to disparage. it doesn't scare me and it does present an interesting perspective about how certain arrangements may be perceived and factored into an investment analysis. it is true, like it or not, that these type of arrangements do allow for abuse. in dealing with small companies whose resources aren't as liquid however, these arrangements are sometimes the necessary evil in moving forward, imho.
