Ramsey:

Cabi is claiming that Sprint has dropped the phone...which means that he is talking about the 1900mhz, single-mode phone (not the "new" dual-mode, 800mhz phone). To my knowledge, the 1900mhz 'Q' suffered from coverage issues--customers were disappointed with frequent dropped calls that resulted from holes in Sprint's (newly constructed) network--not some systemic quality problem. Sprint's solution was to move to the QCP-2700, which is a dual-mode phone.

Best regards,

Gregg
