William,
I am glad I am not the only one that sees this point. Gas prices have been going up considerably lately and 80% of UTI's revenue's are from gas drilling. The fact that we do some oil drilling and are classified in the same oil services sector gives us the correlation with oil prices which really doesn't fit. Every quarter people marvel at how in the world UTI could be growing in the face of dropping oil prices and every time they seem to hold out saying "Next quarter the company must falter." They don't because they have an aggressive aquisition policy, a share buyback program, and a management team that is taking advantage of other companies' weakness during the present times by buying them up. UTI will be 30+ by Jan 1, 1999. My opinion..but a very strong one. I just liquidated my WDC at a loss today to scarf up 2500 MDCO at 15 1/8..could not resist it at that price..a no brainer just like UTI!!
