marc, Don't criticize Teri to much. She has been on this site for a couple of years now and performs an extremely valuable research service and contribution to this site.

I have seen Teri very positive in the past. I can not speak for her current position--but value her input. Teri, keep up your post. When you turn positive we know that the train has left the station.<g>

Thanks.

Paul V.

Marc,
I think Teri is doing a service to the thread by seeking out and
publishing industry "issues". It is far too easy to be misled by
the self-serving analyst community which can cause unknowledgable
investors to make bad investment decisions based on the lack of
"real-life" information, which is often held back. Investors should
have access to both sides of the argument and any relevant information
that provides them insight into the state of the industry. There have
been many "speculations" about an impending upturn in the semi
business that will occur soon, however this is pure speculation and
industry/economic conditions seem to be indicating otherwise, IMO.
Teri is providing the "reality check" by publishing the facts and
not the hype/speculation. I know she would post the "positives" if
things looked like they improving, but they are not.
I am thankful that she is doing the DD/research and posting her
findings for the benefit of all AMAT investors. She has been very
accurate and nearly perfect in her buy and sell transactions as a
long term investor and has the profits/gains to prove it. Sometimes
it is difficult to be heard when screaming into the oncoming
hurricane, but if only one person is "saved" or becomes cautious
then the effort is very worthwhile, IMHO!!
Keep it up Teri, you're doing us all a great favor.

Thanks for all the effort.
BB

Marc,

Since we're rallying Teri's Troops, thought I would throw in the obvious. Marc, in case you haven't noticed, Teri wears roughly worn boots and a big hat........"don't mess with Texas."

Teri: If you really do wear a hat, it's OK with me.
