Teri: Hey, let's not bare our souls, that could get a whole lot uglier than even the current semi equipment market conditions. My real issue is the apparent disconnect between your failure to short the stock and the universally negative tenor of your posts. Wouldn't the ride from $30 down to $20 or even the teens promise to return you a tidy profit? What's stopping you? How do the reasons that make you hesitate to short compare with the unrelenting theme of your posts? C'mon Teri, you're here for the same reason I am -- namely, because you hope to make a hell of a lot of money on AMAT. That simple truth hasn't even scratched the surface of your last several months of posts, which in the end makes their pessimism sound overstated. As for Teri's troops out there, I'm one of you. Lower your muskets, this is fratricide. Sure I'm asking a few pointed questions, but that's fair game for anyone who prolifically posts their strong opinions in a public forum like this. I readily acknowlege that Teri is far and away one of the most consistently valuable contributors to this thread, and I've learned a good deal from and via her.
