Larry, one hour to go and 5 out of 6 DD stocks I follow have
extremely low volume. The exception is RDRT.

You're not alone. What has kept me from going to mutuals
is the desire to get some use out of the expensive stock
investing education I've received.<g>

Larry,

Funny you should ask about mutual funds. The thought occurred to me that the same mutual funds that I have that have been doing well probably stand to deteriorate the worse if there is a large correction which seems almost a sure thing one of these days. Darned if cash isn't starting to look good to me. In the meantime I am playing the perilous game of watching Seagate regain some of my recent losses and wondering if I can ride to a total recapture. I have taken some gains this week. Still sitting on a couple of losses (Seagate is one). Though there are some techs out there tempting me I can't seem to grip it and rip it.

<<PS: Considering the fundamental information that is available to analysts on a timely basis, and that brokerage houses and institutions have first call on that data, what value does that information have for the individual investor?>>

Getting the analysts reports is kind of like the same reason many companies go to Comdex. The value of the effort is dubious but you would hate to be the only one who didn't know (go).

Best,
Stitch
