BAT International First Quarter Financials to be Posted on Web Site BURBANK, Calif., June 26 /PRNewswire/ -- BAT International (OTC Bulletin Board: BAAT - news) will publish its first quarter financials Monday, June 29th on its web site: baat.com A summary of the key financial highlights of the first quarter financials and other subsequent related finance events are as follows: 1) BAT's cash position has increased by $998,000. 2) One BAT subsidiary company has been added in the first quarter (Southern States Power Co.) that is involved in power generation and electricity sales (see press release 3/17/98). 3) One BAT subsidiary, Global Green Cars, has completed a vehicle manufacturing plant in Mexico that will be producing electric vehicles and providing components for worldwide manufacturing sites (see press release 5/6/98). 4) One BAT subsidiary, Ultra-Force Battery Co., has a plant under construction in India to manufacture advanced nickel cadmium and nickel metal hydride batteries for EV/telecom/ industrial battery markets. 5) The SuperBAT New Products Division has been spun off as a subsidiary company, SuperBAT Inc., to market a new line of anti-friction metal treatment products using a $10 million dollar commitment of funds to initiate a national ad campaign (see press release 6/19/98) with product sales already occurring.
