Reading todays Newsday (NY daily paper) Here is a summery: "Olsten Plans to close 60 offices". 15% of its 400 office network because of problems at its health-services unit. The staffing,home health care and IT company said it will post a second q loss of $34 million, or 41 cents a share. Costs associated with a restructuring of the business will lower earnings in the quarter by $40 million, or 50 cents a share. Olsten fell 62 1/2 cents yesterday, about 4%, to close at 11.43 3/4. Olsten has generally experienced sustained growth in in the other areas of office staffing particularly IT. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Olsten is down a little again today ($11). It looks like IT is the way to go for the staffing companies. Jake
