John--
I saw big selling today, but for once, big buying, also! The first trade of the day was a buy of 700 shares, followed by two sales of 50,000 each. Volume 'til 10:30AM was 100,700sh.

What happened after that, I couldn't watch too closely. But we ended the week with two buys, the last one being of 10,000sh.

I am mildly encouraged. I think I'll sell my Yahoo! on Monday and jump in the pool...well, maybe not.

Cheers!
Rick

Regretfully, I can't cut and paste my transaction log. Quite frankly, it's hard to make heads or tails of today's trading. Without a real basis for saying so, I think one might be concerned that today's activity was artificial --- that is it was created to give the impression of big volume coming in when in fact it was just cross-trading or churning stock to create volume. I'm not saying that is the case, its just the feeling I got watching the tape all day long.

Do you realize that today we traded approximately 20% of the entire outstanding share count --- with no price change?

Anyone with insights into today's activities?
