This DRAM stuff is starting to remind me of the DD sector. First there were 60+ hard drive manufacturers, then a round of consolidation got it down to a somewhat manageable level and all the prices shot up. Too much optimism resulted in everyone whose left to ramp up supply. In the end, we got too much DD, price pressure and declining stock prices again.

As a stock, I have decided that I will no longer put these semi-eq companies in my growth category. They are cyclicals and should be treated as such.
