Newly Released Videos on FFIEC Site:
========================

The Center for Strategic and International Studies, Washington, D.C., held a
conference on the "Year 2000 Computer Problem" on June 2nd. Speakers
included Robert Bennett who chairs the U.S. Senate's Special Commitee on
the Year 2000, Peter de Jager, a computer scientist who first brought
attention to the Year 2000 problem, and Ed Yardini, chief economist and
managing director of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. The speakers provide a
broad perspective of the Year 2000 problem from both public and private
sectors. Coverage was provided by C-SPAN's Internet store "Shop C-SPAN".
Presentations made by each speaker during the conference are now
available on the FFIEC's Web site (www.ffiec.gov/y2k). If you have access
to the Internet and your PC has a sound card and audio speakers, you may
view and listen to these presentations. You will need a copy of software
from Real Audio to run on your PC. (The FFIEC's Web site has additional
information on how to access the Real Audio site to download the software.)
