When DRAMs cost $50/Mb and all the companies were rolling in
money, they all talked about diversifying. None of them has to any
major extent. That makes me think it's unlikely that significant
diversification will occur now, when it's all they can do to keep
the wolf away from the door.

And my point about the TI acquisition leading to net capacity
growth still holds. Micron gets *extremely* high productivity out
of all of their fabs. If they shut down Twinstar but keep the
equipment, you can bet the tools will be running at least as many
wafers in Italy as they were in Texas.
