This may not be a popular subject to bring up for some people; however, I just found out that AKLM has 650 employees on their payroll. This compares to 81 for THQI, which always manages to post positive earnings numbers quarter after quarter. For comparison to other American videogame makers: Midway (MWY) has 370 people, and GT Entertainment (GTIS), an $8 stock, has 1,700 (or 400 MORE than ERTS!).

Wouldn't it be standard operating procedure (and a no-brainer) for a company having trouble getting back into the black ink to take a good hard look at their payroll? I hope AKLM has done this.

Also, on a more positive note, I found out that on February 25th of this year, 7 AKLM executives (all added together) bought almost 250,000 shares of AKLM at $4.06. This is old news for many of you I'm sure, but I just saw it on Insider Trades today and thought I'd share this. It's always good to know that the company executives are personally invested in seeing AKLM's stock price rise at least 5 or 6 points over 4.06!
