Bottle prices are numbers that are too great for my calculator <GG> Liquor in Malaysia is very expensive but I am not a copious consumer and fly frequently enough to bring in enough duty free (1 litre per person allowed) to keep me in stock. A bottle of 3/4 litre Chivas (which seems to be popular here) goes for about $ 80 bucks in the local karaoke bars. A six pack of beer is about $6 bucks. I will never forget my first business trip to Salt Lake back in the early 70s. I checked in and went to look for a bar to have a drink. Oh well , live and learn. Best, Stitch

Michael I'll jump in here and Stitch probably won't mind ;-) G7 is scheduled for Nov I believe. Slick Willy is scheduled to attend. (Note: His booked accommodations, a new hotel in KLCC, is currently being erected and will not be ready for occupancy in Nov.) I can't wait to see how the good Dr. M will react in a public forum with all the western "devils" standing there in front of him. I hope he gives one of his "western currency manipulators driven by Jews, intent on the destruction of us poor countries" speeches again. regd bt PS I / we have spent as much as 850 Rm for a bottle of Chivas in local "fun pubs".
