Until an ex-date is established (which Nasdaq controls) that question is unanswerable.

If you sold MIDLP today, and the ex-date was sometime after 5-29 but before today AND you were SOR 5-29-98 you would most certainly get the dividend.

On the otherhand if the ex-date is July 1st, 1998 and you sold today you don't get the dividend. (even if you are SOR 5-29-98).

Makes things real un-needlesly complicated when the ex-date and SOR are different.
