Thanks for spelling out your exact strategy. What confused me was that in your original post (https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=5028188) you mention an "in-the-money PUT" strategy, but I think you're really talking about using an out-of-the-money strategy: buying 80 puts when the stock is at 85; those puts are out of the money. If they were calls they'd be in-the-money...

But I do agree with you in that I too get nervous when a stock rises to a broker's target and they just raise their target 15 or 20%. I mean, why wouldn't they advise their clients it hit their target and was time to sell? That would be too simple (and honest). Instead, it seems like they have to keep that carrot dangling out there -- which is actually OK by me so long as it keeps drawing in the money fueling the Cisco Express. End of anti-broker rant.
