The chart is pretty homely, that's for sure. A break of the support at 56 and who knows where it lands. Pricing puts.

OFF TOPIC: [Hey! it's 1:00 AM, Saturday Morning; I think I'm entitled to a break every now and then!]

Ian, you say:

>>I'm beginning to think I could get better information more professionally presented by watching the Weather Channel.<<

Several days ago <and this is wordup!> I tuned into the Weather Channel and found that there was an anchorman and a co-anchorman (they weren't neutered, they were men) at the desk.

The co-anchor got up, walked over to several wall-sized maps and began to introduce what was going to be covered over the next five minutes.

While pointing to the blue and green regions on the map in the Northeast, he stated that he would be covering these cool spots and low pressure regions after the commercial that was about to air. But before the commercial, he got out that the other guy, the anchor, would come over and relieve him at some point, by addressing the red regions, while he stood there pointing to several red Southwestern blotches on the wall. These were the really "hot" areas of the country, he said. What a team, I thought to myself.

I wondered if there were two different unions looking out for these fellas, and goodfellas they were, too.

Earlier today, I listened to Armstrong and Hendry talking about where they would and would not be introducing voice over cable, and voice over IP. Circuit-switching would take place where TCI had an excess of unused capacity from previous ventures, at first. At least that's how I took it up. IP Voice would take place in the newer builds that would need to be completed first, likely to be in the denser populated areas, after some trialing.

But the deep rural folks were once again sh*t out of luck, it seems.

I couldn't help but think of those two weathermen at some point.

Frank Coluccio

I wonder how much daytrading goes on at CNBC since they are the first to know which stories and stocks are about to air.
