I agree it is very "eerie" ... No mention of any 333mhz or 350mhz K6-2's AND
the price is very low for the 300mhz K6-2. Looks to me like the demand is
just not there ... I recently saw ads for Compaq in USA Today. Not a
single K6 system ... all Intel CPU's. Also, I think PC World did a top
10 best value desktop systems in June and now there are only 2 K6 destops
from tier 2 vendors (Polywell and someone else) in the top 10 (versus 4 or 5
back in April). I just think the K6-2 is not selling.

If you're thinking about upgrading to Windows98 I thought I'd let you know I installed it last night and I like it. Installation was completely painless. It took about 1 hour complete with fat32 conversion. It feels snappier and the look is virtually unchanged.
