His posting stated that Hulbert ranked CTSL dead last, what more proof do you need for Murphy's "utter lack of credibility"? And in regard to Ligand, in 1996 CTSL had a 1998 target of $100. Not too credible.

BTW, there already is a CTSL thread, perhaps you should take this dissccussion over there.

Bernie, there was nothing sensational about my comments. Murphy is simply not a credible stock analyst. His discussion of AMLN in the article Henry cited is a good example of his spin. Pure garage. His performance is a matter of public record and it's horrible. He's also well known for attempting to manipulate the market by publishing blatently incorrect info to cover his losses. This is well known. His publication caters to the inexperienced masses; he's not followed by professional investors except as a possible contrary indicator (as I suggested in my original post). If *you* like and respect Murphy, fine. If you don't like the stocks I invest in or appreciate my commentary, fine. I *am* amazed at how much time you've taken to respond to an opinion about a LGND citation. A serious question...In your opinion is Murphy credible simply because he likes LGND or because you're impressed with his performance and tactics? Rudy
