ibexx,

Sorry, but I beg to differ.

Max-Pain graphs are snapshots of the open interest, that's why each graph is dated. Also, Max-Pain points tend not to move dramatically over the course of the month. But knowing how it may have moved is important, that's why I present the analysis at the end of each of the final 3 weeks of the monthly open interest cycle.

There is a great deal of 'inertia' built into the total monthly open interest position that exists for an issue. And, there are warnings and links to read about the Max-Pain analysis technique where the graphs are presented. I suggest that all stop in and read how a Max-Pain point is defined before jumping to any conclusions.

Hi Ibexx,

Do you have any recent thoughts on QCOM? They seem to be having some manufacturing problems, but the members of the thread seem to think the problems are transient.

I am still in for the long term for the wireless play.

Thanks in advance.
