And I would like to complain because I've been gone for about a week, and NOBODY and I mean NOBODY has even said that they've missed me. And secondly, I would like to know why it has been YEARS since I've gotten any chigger bites. Now I'm not complaining about that, you understand, but I still would like to know why. And lastly, I would like to complain that I am a mongrel. Father's side was from the North....Mother's side was from the South. Father's side has the name of my great-grandfather listed first of all the names on the Pennsylvania marker at Gettysburg. Mother's side was a large plantation owner. So where do I fit in? Do I sing "Battle Hymn of the Republic" or "Dixie"? And how can I feel guilty about coming from a long line of plantation owners when I also come from a line that brought about the demise of those same plantation owners? Is it any WONDER that I sometimes feel confused? :-( Juanita
