Saw this on the Yahoo thread

"VCLL then made a near-fatal mistake and placed off shore debentures (preferred convertibles). The holders have been converting quickly and selling, which is why we have dropped back again to the basement. Until they stop, or are out of shares, the price of VCLL will not climb much. Low volume and little news only reinforces that. Most holders here would agree that the earnings in mid-August need to be good enough to bring in a bunch of buyers to take the pref shares out. Once the prefs stop selling, VCLL will quickly rise back to over $2 a share. The problem is, no one knows when the prefs will stop. The company has not been very forthcoming with the status of the pref conversions or sales. Personally, I believe that the pref conversions have made the pref holders a "beneficial holder" of over 5% of the company stock. If so, they are obligated to file with the SEC when they plan to sell stock. Since we are not seeing any filings, I suspect we may yet encounter a possible lawsuit in VCLL's future and some jail time for the pref holders. Just IMHO. "

Is it true about the perfered convertibles turning them into stock>?
