Jeff, this may duplicate others' requests, but can you modify the SEARCH facility to permit limiting the search to a single thread?

Jeff/Brad,

Does SI allow aliases to be common? The reason why I'm asking is that there are now 3 "Gator" aliases posting (I was the original, joined in Sept '96). I keep getting private messages why I'm trashing this stock or that when it's actually the other guys doing it. Luckily, we haven't frequented the same threads yet, but it is only a matter of time before we do. Since I have seniority (and I was the only one to go to UF, which makes the other guys pretenders anyway), it seems like the other guys should have to change their aliases (if they should indeed be unique).

Jeff,

On occasion, when I do not have a lot of time on my hands (happens more and more often lately) I would like to be able to click through all of the new postings to a given thread that have links referenced in the post ... so that I could, for instance, click on the "Welcome to Silicon Investor!" thread and then click on another button that would then display for me only posts with links ... or perhaps SI could just add a button to the "Subject Bookmarks" page adjacent to the "Subject" button that would read "Subject Links". Then when I clicked on "Subject Links" and then clicked on my "3COM" bookmark, up would pop the "3COM" thread ... but only posts with links would be shown. If you can understand my request, is there any chance of getting something like this implemented? Thanks in advance.

regards,
John
