Hi bdog,

I am still having trouble exporting data to metastock. All the data is there in QP but only last couple of months or so in meta.

sounds like your having the fun of new software and it's Plethora of uses.

I have displayed on screen in MetaStock about 90 trading days of data so I can more readly see the indicators and price action. When I select more data to be displayed I find I can only go back to the amount of data that I loaded in MetaStock vie the MetaStock option, (in MetaStock,) for days to load and days to display. When I set QP format MetaStock data output utility to 2200 periods I get all that is avalible from QP for Metastock to read. Since I have MetaStock set to read farther back than I have data for I never have to worry about the problem being QP not putting all the data that it has in the MetaStock folders

Hope this helps.

Arctic Mike

You did go to Quotes Plus Setup and put in the path for your CD Buffer Directory (e.g., E:\DISKBUFF), right?

If so, then
println "Sorry then, I dunno";
next Q;

bdog:

Just chewed through the restraints - they were applied to me (should have had heavy doses of Thorazine as well) after my entire system went south on Saturday. Wish I could have gone to LA. :-(

Not a problem with QP2 - I haven't even taken the CDs out of the wrapper. Somehow my WIN95 registry corrupted (no I wasn't trying to install WIN98). My 'puter would only boot from A with an emergency disk; no HDs or CD ROM, and no internet connection (no browser and TCP/IP corrupt). By yesterday I managed to salvage the data from HD and get CD ROM recognized. By this AM I had reinstalled essential programs and apps.

Need to catch up on markets, news, SI, etc. and then I'll try QP2 installation. What - me worry?? I've got to get a backup system, I can't take another crash.
