Again PR, PR, PR. If you know Gruder, work on it.

Lord knows I and others have tried mightily (g).

Perhaps now that things are looking better to some degree for the entire Y2K sector he'll consider stepping up the PR.

As for CNBC like you suggest, I am all for it.

Would it surprise you that advertising on CNBC has been widely discussed by people in and around Alydaar for some time?

The argument against CNBC advertising has always been that it's very expensive and shareholders might be very upset if they saw a $500K expense one quarter with no quantifiable results to justify it. And that's assuming they had the $500K to spend. Don't forget they'd have to hire an advertising agency familiar with booking airtime and then a studio to produce the TV spots-- which doesn't come cheap.

On the other hand -- as my argument goes -- ALYD could attract a whole new type of investor if they create the right kind of advertisement. I envision ALYD's commercials showing people in white lab coats walking through the production facilities, i.e. where all the code is fixed. The emphasis would be on the evolution of SmartCode and how it's a perfect match for curing the dreaded millennium bug. Another ad could talk about SmartAudit. Yet another might even focus on Y2K itself.

I also feel that it might force other vendors to develop similar advertising to compete, thus raising awareness about Y2K in general. If Y2K companies could all assume a higher profile, it might just take the stigma away from people hiring them. As it is now, many Y2K companies are apologizing that they are even talking on Y2K work. That's pathetic, IMO.

I really really urge people to be vocal on this issue as it may make a big difference whether Alydaar decides to go down this path. They do read this thread and listen to what all of you have to say.

And, just to be clear, I'm not asking for people who share my views to speak up; I'm asking to hear from anyone who has any sort of opinion on this whatsoever.

- Jeff

as selznick found scarlett ohara and howard hughes found jane russell wall street will find gruder in due time. i have a theory that they have found him but are keeping it a secret so they can accumulate much more stock at these low prices. then they will officially announce their new discovery so their accumulated shares will soar. gruder would like to tell them to take a flying f--- but he needs these players to survive because us little alyd supporters simply do not have the power standing alone to put alyd where it belongs. so if gruder builds it they will come but unfortunately building it means sleeping with the greedy enemy. however when gruder becomes biill gates he can tell them all what he really thinks or even write a expose called wall st. confidential, the manipulation of the small investor whose insight, research and downright balls are at the mercy the greedy manipulators who reset the tune of what would be a normal market by their absolute control of wwwhere they want the stock to be at any particular time. As that great wise, geoge w. goodman said the system promotes the survival of the fittest(those with the Control of $$$ at the expense of the dumbest (you and me, the ones who wave the flag and defend our country) OUR ONLY HOPE IS THAT bob GRUDER WILL PLAY THEIR LITTLE GAME BECAUSE WE WILL ALL BENEFIT EVEN THO WE ARE DUMB. uNFORTUNATELY A LOT OF THE SO CALLED "FITTEST" WILL ALSO BENEFIT BUT UNTIL YHE GAME IS PLAYED DIFFERENTLY US DUMB GUYS WHO HAD THE INSIGHT MUST ally ourselves and encourage the mms to finish their accumulation and then come out of the closet to recommend that strong buy . Ironicly the biggest secret weapon of us dumb guys is that the mms dont even trust each other and some of them might start recommendsing alyd before the others finish their accumulation at todays prices thereby giving us dumb guys a early xmas by a sharp summer rise.
