Tim:

Roger has a 'short' agenda, so, of course, he doesn't care in the least that potentially libelous & defamatory statements can drive the price of TAVA down and harm the company.
Tim, we'll see if the legal community thinks that Mr. Wexler's actions are as harmless as you are attempting to paint them.
Do not confuse the freedom to post, with the freedom to make accusations that a company is engaged in illegal activity with no evidence to back up those accusations.
I think I speak for the vast majority of shareholders who do not want their investments compromised with these kinds of statements.
It's pretty much a moot point anyway, the materials have already been sent. At the very least, Mr. Wexler's posting privileges should be suspended for at least a year.
In terms of legal actions impacting the perception of a company as going after 'shorts', whatever that could possibly mean, a great number of successful companies are engaged in assorted major and minor lawsuits as part of doing business. I assure you that any filing against Wexler and/or Pink would have zero impact on the stock price.
However, allowing their continued posts alleging illegal activities on the part of TAVA could have a great impact. In this case, Mr. Wexler has done a great deal more than merely 'stir' up a thread!

Tim:

Nice post about Wexler; fact is, he's so very wrong.

Last year, he showed up on another Y2K thread and started slamming a stock I was invested in. At the time, the stock was trading in the 50 cent range, and Bill was warning everyone to sell (Stating in his post's heading "---- IS A SCAM!")

Well, ---- subsequently ran up to near $2.5 a share, and is still trading well above the 50 cents.

Wexler was also a big TCOMA and ATHM shorter (as I'm happy to see he notes on his SI thread); two other stocks that have had tremendous runs over the past year.

The point of all this? TAVA shareholders would be well advised to ignore this clown...

regards,

JS

Speaking of facts: do you think TAVA is going to hit its 0.07 a share estimate this quarter?
