Whale blubber tastes like an rubber inner tube and, perhaps this is before your time, but exactly like someting called Castor Oil, vdry strong Castor Oil

Castor Oil I believe was made out of rendered Herring.

Whale meat chewed slowly is like trying to eat very fishy inner tube. You wonder why Icelandic ladies are so passionate. After a meal of whale blubber anything seems interesting.

Such as it is is my observation about whale meat and love in Iceland. I swear we must get off this topic and get into the investment opportunitiues of the place. There is a fortune to be made there. It probably wil be the only place on earth that is not affected by the asia crisis.
