As I type this post in another window, I am composing my own custom CD on the volatilemusic website. What a brilliant concept for oldies! People can pick 10 songs from a reasonable list in the library and have them put on a custom CD for $14.95. I will order this today and report on the progress (if anyone is interested). The user can listen to the songs using shockwave prior to purchase. This is extremely cool. I have not encountered this before, but have heard of the concept. Are there other sites doing this? It's easier if one owns the rights to all the songs, of course.

Maybe I am just too young, but most of those artists I have never heard of =) Maybe its just me

Also the option of listening to the song online doesnt work for me.. maybe its my browser.. anyone else try??

If anyone else knows of a similar web site which has hits from the 80s and 90s please refer me to the site. Its a great concept.. 10 songs of CD quality for 14.99 (+$3.00 s/h) .. worth it to bring together harder to find songs.
