Sigmund, Todd: Thanks for your responses rearding Bear Stearns/acquisitions. As far as I know, to this point there is no formal relationship, but speculation of coverage by Bear has been discussed on the MF board as a result of meetings between THQ and Bear that apparently took place at E3 in Atlanta. I was trying to explore other possibilities that might potentially evolve from such a relationship besides simply assuming that stock coverage was imminent. Since coverage will sometimes evolve from investment banking relationships, this seemed like a reasonable path to explore. Sig, your point regarding increasing capitalization for the purpose of attracting more institutional interest is precisely one of the benefits I perceive of getting bigger faster; greater efficiency is unquestionbly an issue, although THQ has proven that it knows how to run an enterprise in this industry in a uniquely efficient way. Any acquisition of a bigger player would no doubt result in a large RIF, with franchise titles and development talent the primary survivors. If THQI did pursue this path (which I agree is probably not likely) we could probably sleep well knowing that our CEO would not overpay. I must admit that when the BROD/TLC combination was announced and their more prominent franchises were listed, I simply drooled at the though of these titles in the proper hands (namely, THQ's) now and in the future. Having said all of that, your points regarding adding value through more efficient growth are well taken, and as Todd so aptly pointed out, one of the reaons to buy THQ and hang on for the ride. Thanks for the response and good luck to you Todd in your new venture.
