Simple - in order to decide whether or not to do business with them
and invest in the company. One of the purposes of these boards is for
potential investors to discuss and make determinations concerning
investing decisions, not just for the already invested to talk about
the company.

I am not currently invested, but am interested. Therefore, though
your post was not directed to me in particular, the inference that
if one does not own stock, nothing is any of their business, directs
it to all who are interested in MTEI.

One of thefirst red herrings that was flung into the frey was the issue of Christensen's relationship with Mountain Energy. He is not a principal or employee of the company. Shell, who is in all liklihood shorting Mountain Energy, knew this yet continued with this line of baiting.

Having given up on that tac it is now whether or not Christensen is a shareholder. The point is it does not matter.

What matters is the ongoing findings of Stagg Engineering and the ability of Mountain to exploit those properties as well as future acquisitions.

Most everything else is hairsplitting with no other purpose than to distract.

What's your point?

Okay. I'll try to make this even clearer: John Christensen owns a lot of MTEI stock because MTEI merged with IVCI. Had they bought another shell he wouldn't be involved. And, as noted, he isn't someone I'd care to be associated with. Did MTEI make an error of judgment here, and, if so, does this error indicate inexperience in running a business?
