I never got over '64. Never. When Chico Ruiz stole home I cried and cried. I still love Callison. It was the bullpen that let us down. Just like 93.

ah yes the days of wine and rojas(or was that the name of a movie?)...actually i think tony taylor was the 2b most of the time that year...anyway, i always thought the reason they lost was that jim bunning and chris short ran out of gas and gene mauch didn't have anybody else...but your're right that callison was the offensive star, although dick allen wasn't too shabby either
