Paul, The difference now is that Intel is making a major effort to PROTECT their new developments - so they can profit by their own innovation - and let the Clones 'R Us crowd either pay a licensing fee or innovate on their own. Makes perfect business sense to anyone other than AMD, Cyrix and the FTC. All of which need more money. I read earlier the FTC is going back to congress to get more money. Apparently business is booming for the FTC and they are looking to expand operations. ;-) Dale
