Aha, that's the reply I was trolling for. Except you made it a little too unsubtle by quoting the word "straight".

Picture of Harvey Milk ... straight (so to speak).
Unofficial web site dedicated to James Cramer ... straight.
I like Cramer because he's got a lot of "passion" (my word) ... damn straight !!!

You know, when I chose the word "passion", I didn't even notice that it has a romantic/sexual denotation. That's certainly not the way I feel about James Cramer. I meant a different type of passion.

I mean the kind of passion where you get up in the morning and you love your job so much that you can't wait to get to work.

I mean the kind of passion where you finally solve a profound problem and you involuntarily lift off your feet and feel lighter.

I mean the kind of passion where you know you are making the world a better place right here, right now, by your direct action. I've actually never figured out how a hedge-fund trader could feel that way about their job -- I've never felt that way about short-term trading. But I certainly know how a writer can feel that way. Sometimes a writer can write something that enables other people to improve their very lives.

And I can easily imagine how an entrepreneur can feel that way about the business they created.

Have you ever felt that way about your job? Do you believe in justice, Jock? Have you ever taken a case pro bono?

That's the kind of passion I'm talking about. James J. Cramer has a truckload of it. It's his passion that polarizes his audience. Some people don't like to see other people's passion. Some people do. I do.

That's why I like Cramer.
