To all, IMO Marvel brought about their own demise. About 3 yrs back they decided to cut out all distributors and go with their own, Heroes World, from the east coast. This caused a major SNAFU, late or non shipment of product, no backstock, and incompetent staff at the distribution point to name just a few problems. They are now back with the main book distributors, but the damage was done. Add to this, the loss of some of the top artists/writers to Image Comics and it was just a matter of time. Slumping sales was not the cause of Marvel's troubles, but poor management decisions are. They may be able to come back, but it's sad that it took C-11 to bring them to their senses.
