There's been a lot of talk surrounding the Banshee release over
whether there is really a use for 3D in business apps. A while
back I mentioned in a post that I'd noticed a review of 3D
accelerator cards in a federal government computer tabloid. Its
claim was that VRML would be the driver for wanting these cards
in a government PC.

Today I checked out a VRML demo over on CNN.com. I had to download
a helper app to view it. The demo is located at:

cnn.com

No big shakes. Still it got me thinking. Maybe 3dfx should
develop a Glide accelerated VRML viewer that they could bundle
with the Banshee.

Now I need a good application. How about a Ticketmaster-like site
that lets you 'sit' in your seat and check out the view before you
buy the ticket?

Well I've shot my creativity for a Saturday afternoon. Anybody have
any ideas???
