Hello Bill: My reference to an inordinate or huge volumes days., was brought to light., because I remember the day,., May 25 of 94., when the TSE Aber traded over 3.0mil shares., after Twi Le Cho fiasco., and a very distraught diamond market enviroment. Nothing was trading., the whole TSE was dormant., infact for a historical note., if I have time., I will post the whole article. I see some similiarities in volume implications. I really dont buy the arguement that the mentality suddenly changed at Snap Lake., a certain amount of volume say 2 or 3mil shares on the news., then some profit taking., a few days rest then upward movement depending on the markets view of things. Go back to the breakout and start adding shares., it looks to me around 19mil., retail investors., nor momentum traders cant account for that volume in the last week., I would agree that it would seem the industry insiders have responded wherever they may be. I dont ever recall even seeing this type of volume in Abers real active days of Mini-bulk sampling and delineation drilling. In regards to your question concerning drill results., the 22 holes that intersected small breecia bodies have not been reported. In my conversation with Sophie., she stated that Dr.P is enroute from the USSR., along with a volcanic expert to examine the cores. Upon completion they will be sent to lakefield for caustic fusion and diamond extraction. If the cores were short interceptions., I can see the delay., because Caustic Fusion does destroy the matrix core. In regards to your question of why high volume and basically unchanged could be short term traders moving in and out on computer driven buy and sell programs., it may trim the price., but eventually if there is value the market will find an equilibrium. Well the colored stone aspect is there it cant be denied., statistically a minimum of one of those stones should be yellow.statisically As well the 18 stones could be 43 percent yellows., and 43 percent whites., with a pink or green to boot. This maybe a dangling carrot down the road., I dont know. It sure is fun to speculate what could be. As far as you last observations Bill., my thoughts are that the insiders are well aware of the diamond market. They are as well aware what it will take to move the stock price., that being valuations of large stones., with great distribution. This wasnt evident in the delineation drill., i.e. 11 holes., it was evident in the mini-bulk. Lots of attempts at charactor assasination took place concerning Randy Turner and the other geologists associated with Winspear. My conversation with Randy some time back., I asked him point blank before the mini-bulk sample results were completed if he thought the NW dyke would be an economic source., his answer was YES. IMO he has kept that promise to the best of his ability. I put value on their gem quality references for the following reasons. 1. There were many early references to gem quality., that being the morphology of small diamonds found in the til samplings. 2. The octahedral shape of the early stones indicating crystalline preservation during emplacment. 3. Large stones found in the Angular boulder samples 4. Large pyrope garnets up to 2cm as well. But as indicated the percentage of macro/micros over 30% and early frequency of stones over 1.0mm keyed in the eventual grade results. and high gem quality numbers. An interesting puzzle to an interesting find., of which I may author my first book entitled " My secret obsession with Diamonds whats yours.?" Next week should prove interesting Bill., Sincerely George J. Tromp
