Chief accountant in my office got a new toy yesterday -- IBM laptop.

I asked him, "What'd you pay?"

"$2800."

I guess I'm no poker face.

He said, "That was a really good deal -- have you priced them?"

I guess there are many people out there with money to burn. Mostly other peoples.

Mike, The author of the first letter in Barron's mailbag ,Wayne Crimi, has written some articles for the gold-eagle site gold-eagle.com and is linked in fiendbear.com . I know you have these sites but i figured i would post them fer de lurkers. You are like EF Hutton when you talk people listen but I won't accept any of your checks-g- . I expect there will be an increased interest in Austrian economics after the bubble bursts. Here is a reply discussing the derivatives exposure of US banks (including Chaste) #reply-5041704 For those who think margin abuse contributed to the crash of 1929 consider the derivative exposure of the of the US banking system.
