Another play is UNFI -- this Natural Foods distributor dominates distribution in the US.

I think when you invest in the natural foods area you need to go with the major players. The reason I say that is it is already a niche market as it is, and if you are too small i think the investment becomes risky. Look at Gardenburger (GBUR), they spent a large amount of money to put out an ad on Steinfeld to get people to buy alternative burgers. Jury is still out if it was worth the investment. All the stocks you pick are good bets including Hain, even at their higher prices. Some small players I'm watching are BBAR which went public and produce the Balance Bar which according to IBD is growing very fast. The problem is that new issues are hard to play even though it's not up much from its $10 IPO price. Another area that seems to be doing well is the supplement area. I've owned PURW and did very well, and they are expanding right now to produce one of the highest forms of Kava Kava which is exploding right now. The last one I'm watching is Twin Lab (TWLB) which has I think the best selection of vitamins and herbs in the retail market. TWLB also is close to a breakout so I think it looks pretty good.

I know IBD did a profile on a company that distributes organic products to WFMI and OATS but I can't remember the name, and have not tracked it since it was featured last year. But that's about all the names I have that to me are worth looking into.

There is an industry association that maintains an index of organic foods or natural foods stocks.
