Does anyone have credible evidence showing that Big Dog received shares from TVSI to pump it?

I would find that hard to believe. I really don't think he P & D'ed that stock. He definitely pumped it, but I think he just got discouraged when it appeared that no amount of buying could get the price above .04.

He told me recently that he still held about 1.4 million shares, whether that is true or not I don't know. I tend to believe he has retained at least some of his holdings in that stock.

I lost my ass in TVSI, I bought on my own DD, the rumors that were circulating and Big Dog's assurance that he had 100 million shares of buying power to bring to bear on the stock.

I blame myself for TVSI, not Big Dog, although I think his buying power estimates were extremely bloated.

We live and learn. I don't think we can blame Big Dog for the recent performance of some of his picks. Tokyo's picks rarely work these days also. The reason, I believe is that the MMs read these threads and are prepared in advance for whatever picks are made.

If an overwhelming amount of good news doesn't come immediately after the pick to support the buying, the MMs simply flood the market with shares. In BB stocks they have almost an unfettered ability to do so. Then take into account the daytraders that sell quickly after the stock goes up and the panic selling that takes place once the momentum dies and its easy to see how simple it is for the MMs to take a good pick and screw us all.

In my opinion the worst idea for us is to telegraph way ahead of time that a pick is coming. I think the NBET situation is a prime example of my point. Big Dog let it be known for over a week that his big pick was coming, lots of people sold other stocks to create cash.

The MMs had plenty of notice that a pick was coming with heavy buying pressure behind it. Once it came, they were as ready as any of the investors and the stock never went anywhere even though the exposure it received and the buying power behind it were enormous.

In my humble opinion the only BB stocks that will work as picks are the ones that have lots of positive PR coming in a short period of time. That will be what is necessary to defeat the MM games, the daytrader selling and the general panic of those who can't stay invested for over a week.

Just my thoughts after following and participating on this thread for the past several months.

>> If this is "pump and dump," where is the "pump" part ??? How did BD profit at my expense? <<

BD hyped it weeks before on this thread with statements about the "Next Big Thing" and how the DD was being finalized on the stock. Statements about doing something different and about how everyone was going to win were also thrown out and it looks like a lot of people bought the story. The biggest joke was when he was nominated for an award for serving his fellow investors by someone on SI. LOL.

I agree with you Les. NBET came out with one announcement, no more. It was classified as a long,no less. TCBG was mentioned at .65-.75 range initially as a long.
This thread has been a short term thread for months and I would assume most here have traded appropiately, some not. The companies, whoever they are, have to support their stock price with real news to maintain shareholder sentiment and a long term investment. Forget the letters of intent,etc---Real News. I don't care if BD,TMEX, or the "Man the the Moon" believes in a stock or puts out a pick. Do the your own DD;look at the trading patterns, call the company, check all the releases, look at investor sentiment, but most of all---DON'T RUSH IN BLINDLY on someone's word. The rush to get in first on any pick creates the momentum--I call that GREED and emotion. Some of us quickly forget the RMGG's,TEXN's, etc. too that have maintained a postive trend days and weeks later. Just thinking out loud. Shutting up now and returning to the pleasant weekend.

Another post that takes all sides into consideration. The lynch mob forgets I posted TCBG the same day and it is doing nicely. I am at the New England 200 where TCBG has an Indy car sponsored for Team Cheever and driven by Robbie Unser.

We have been meeting with Jon Darmsteder, CEO of TCBG and in my opinion this company is going places and all of them are up.

Watch the race on CBS tomorrow at 2:00 pm EDT. Watch for the BIG DOG in the Team Cheever pits. Thats the Rachel's Chips car driven buy Eddie Cheever and the yellow and blue Children's Beverage Group car driven buy Robbie Unser.

BTW, we have plenty of digital pictures of yours truly with Eddie Cheever and Robbie Unser with the TCBG car. We will be sending these pictures out via Email and on various websites.

TCBG is a company that I will keep for the future big payoff. THIS IS A LONG HOLD. You know, more than a few days.

BTW, I will be starting a new thread for longs only, so there is no confusion.

Will report from the race tomorrow.
