Steve,

I'm quite sure that you are right that the good ol' boy network is hard at work, and has been a major detriment to Ancor's success. That could explain most of the problems, but ALL of the problems? I think most of us that have concentrated on the technical side are re-examining our positions to see if we could have made a mistake along the way. I know that George, KJ, and I (and others) have done a TON of research into the technical aspects, but that doesn't mean we couldn't still be wrong.

After more research, and pondering this whole issue, it seems to me that selling a switch isn't going to cut it. Ancor must sell a "solution". The switch may be the heart of the package, but there has to be management software and support to go along with it. Perhaps that is where Ancor has been lacking?
