Dale,, thanks for the response. Your points are well taken.

My point is that Intel is not going to march right in and take business away from the RISC/UNIX MPU server market over-night at any price, and I wouldn't want investors to be misled on this point.

Also some of the documented problems over the past few years have been downplayed in the single processor market and explained as most likely to effect the multiprocessor or unusual operations communities.

The level of risk that I am willing to accept for 95% of my PC use is very high. That goes for Intel, AMD, Cyrix, or whatever. But this is a different market that will accept little or no tolerance for errors.

Again, dependability and accuracy are probably the biggest selling points for this market as opposed to price/performance. Intel and Microsoft have their wagon loaded.
