Ed, I found myself underwater with this one again lately, after trading my way out of the hole since first getting in a year or so ago. Had to decide whether to dump/hold/buy, and chose to buy more, with a tentative near-term trading target of 2.45.

Have to agree with your comments on Midland analysts overall, but I've followed James Keating of their Financial Services, and put considerable stock in what he says. He's answered every email I've sent him, quickly and candidly, and I've made a lot of money following his advice. Also I find Christine Farkas worth listening to, and Bob Feick of their oilpatch bunch. But there's lots of bad examples, I agree, notably the WIM@5.00-pushers. I figure I'll give this Andr‚ Uddin a chance, though.

And this JV with Miravant does look like a good thing, if nothing else it is yet another vote of confidence in xlx technology. But ¨qui‚n sabe? Que ser , ser .

My untrained seat-of-the-pants eyeballing of the chart combined with an admittedly pitifully weak grasp of the fundamentals involved says that xlx is headed back to 2.40+ soon, at which point a few of the shares I just bought will be available for sale. Fwiw -g- ... cheers
