Friends? Well I have learned that friends that you think you know are not frieds because this is money. My down fall is being planned so the day traders can do like prisoners that suddenly repeat to religion. Friends are very few and far between. Character is a friend and that character changes like some ones trading style. I have a record of a lot of on -line investors and the sudden turn to investors instead of trading. Anything you have money involved there is no such thing as friends. I do not fool myself to believing I have one frien on line. I came in alone and I have always kept people at a distant. Very few do I trust... and today even less than that. I am the type of man if all laws were abolished I would be the very same for what was right years ago is right today. GB PS Boy I must be a real weirdo for your study of human nature

Dear Dave: How refreshing your post is and how well your describe the introspective investor who enjoys the challenge, who grows day to day, learning his own trading weaknesses and strengths. Sometimes we are slow learners but then the spark of a new concept lays another foundation stone. I am moving my "spark-notes" to WP and then to a personal check-chart to remind me, not to "take off" without setting the flaps. <<<The need for self-knowledge and control coupled with the need to make good decisions while managing high levels of stress are a killer set of requirements. One must overcome/fight bad habits, guard against certain elements of addiction, and work with incredible tenacity to master this business. Personally, I like the challenge.
