We've seen some discussions lately regarding the market size, and some have expressed worries about Valence being able to sell all they can produce. At maximum design capacity the first 3 assembly lines will produce around 10 million units/year, but this has yet to be demonstrated. Now Matsushita expects to produce 1 million thin liquid units/month initially (and presumably more later) to be absorbed by the makers of ultrathin laptop computers in Taiwan and Japan alone.

Apparently the total market for laptops is very big. I'd be interested in seeing more projections/comments on this topic.
