MCRE: Acquisition target

MCRE could profit from an acquisition, because their marketing and product development needs to be overhauled. I don't believe this is going to happen under the current circumstances. MCRE could make more $$ from its products if the management finally decides if it wants to address the professional or the consumer market. Take Bryce or Poser. Great programs. But most 3D artists prefer Softimage or other 3D software when it gets to serious productions. On the other side, these tools are far too complicated for consumers. Children like them - but they don't pay $ 299 for a licensed version. They should more focus on professionals, selling stripped-down version to consumers.

MCRE has developed interesting ideas during the last years by playing around with new techniques and interfaces. I think now their customers want them to become adult.
