Be sure to read the Roundtable in the new Barron's. One fun idea is that the U.S. market will tank if Japan continues to weaken or if it recovers. Heads you lose, tails you lose. They also talk a good deal about the plight of the small cappers like your famous X company. There is now an all-time record divergence between the valuation of small caps and the mighty Big Caps. Before the poor small cappers get their due respect, the Big Cappers will get their turn in the tank. I'm waiting for the words "I'm in for the long haul" and for the idea of "buying on the dips" to be regarded with bitter contempt. There is far too much complacency in the air.
