John, is this free gold in black sand? If so various mechanical concentrators can be used. The best would be a Knellson concentrator as the feed will be farily fine and you caould get 80-90% of the gold that way.
If is is sulfide(pyrite) then it will have to be looked at in detail. Some ground up sulfides can get completely oxidised if oxygenated water has circulated over time and that makes the gold easier to get out.

But .9 Oz/ton is great paydirt and a concentrator that costs $5000 could do 50 tons a day and make 200 per ton profit(sand you shovel so it is easy to move and there is no crushing) of course if the sand is at 900 feet down, costs extra, as the girl said.
That will pay for the concentrator in half a day<G> Of course how much is there?
