Stitch, all: "250,000 copies of Win 98 sold"

Microsoft Corp. sold more than 250,000 copies of its Windows 98
operating system in its first day on sale, according to PC Data, a market
research firm. PC Data forecast that 500,000 copies of Windows 98 will
be sold through this weekend, a total only slightly less than the Windows
95 operating system sold in a comparable time frame. ''If present trends
continue, Windows 98 will become the best-selling title in 1998 by the
end of next week,'' said Roger Lanctot, director of research for PC Data.

I wonder how many bought just so they could complain about it?

Stitch,
I have to tell you, I like Win98 and I really didn't expect to. It is smoother, cleaner, and more refined.
No major changes, nothing earth shattering but it is worth the trouble and my $89.00.
Bill will do okay with this one <g>.
