tim, are you surprised bob isn't 100% accurate? i'm amazed what people expect. one could argue that if you never lose you are not taking enough risk to MAXIMIZE profits. do credit cards issue credit to people that can't handle it? sure! why? b/c they know that by assuming the risk of going into the marginal credit groups THEY MAKE MORE OVERALL MONEY. if bob doesn't lose then he isn't MAXIMIZING PROFITS. btw, i think the utek call sucks b/c the chip industry is in meltdown mode. the next boom will be nothing like the 1991-1995 one. boxes are much closer to a mature industry now.
