That was a good one ... In service school I used to instruct at I always used something similiar. You learn never to underestimate a problem... However in my industry if you check out the problem of a hot/ cold compliant over and over and there is no obvious reason for it. You have exhausted very possible test then you merely install a t'stat on the wall so the person can have a t'stat of their very own which controls their particular space. Suddenly if everyone is happy and the calls that have occurred for the longest while cease you have accomplished what you were hired to do ... be a professional problem solver.. Note: the t'stat is hooked to nothing on the other side. Moral: If there is a problem you have to be part of the solution or part of the continual problem.... Happy customers expect a bit of due diligence to solve the problem but they do want it solve. GB
